Job Description

• Dermatology office in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn is looking for one medical assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working. Knowledge of eClinicalWorks is a plus. Will consider individuals who have worked as an administrator, in retail, or in the food industry and want to make a career change.

The position is for PT or FT. Only serious inquiries, please.

Responsibilities

• Must have strong work ethics
• Work at Front Desk
• Make appointments, check insurance and eligibility
• Provide consistent exceptional service
• Assist providers in exam rooms
• Verify and maintain patient records
• Set up and sanitize exam rooms
• Complete routine medical procedures
• Team player

Qualifications

• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in the medical field is a plus
• Familiarity working with medical equipment is a plus
• High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
• Multi-lingual preferred but not required (Spanish or Chinese)
