Overview:
EHC Construction is an employee-owned company seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as Labor/Roller Operator. This role involves supporting various road construction and maintenance activities while ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform physical labor, including digging, shoveling, and lifting heavy materials.
• Prepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting space.
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Experience as a roller, water truck and any other require equipment to complete the assigned job.  
• Direct traffic safely around the construction or road maintenance site.
• Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.
• Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
• Ensure regulated and proper headgear, ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing are worn
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Prepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting space.
• Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
• Assist equipment foreman, operators, and other skilled labor when necessary
• Operate the roller proficiently, safely, and efficiently to support construction operations.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings while operating the Loader on public or private roadways.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed to support project requirements.

Qualifications:

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience operating preferred.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and reliability.
