Job Description

We are seeking a high-performing, self-sufficient Senior Financial Analyst to join our strategic finance team. In this role, you will support key stakeholders, including the Capacity finance lead, Head of FP&A, CFO, and COO, to enhance and analyze the core operational models and metrics that drive the business. You will have frequent opportunities to collaborate across departments and interact with executive leadership. The ideal candidate will bring experience in building large, complex operational models, proficiency in data organization and automation, strong financial modeling skills, and a deep understanding of economic analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive financial planning and forecasting, maintaining and improving financial forecast models, budget models, and databases.
- Independently create, maintain, and report forecasts and analyses on a project-by-project basis.
- Own infrastructure reporting and forecasts, including multiregional capital expenditure models and unit economics analysis for a large fleet of computing assets.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to track, report, and forecast infrastructure-related KPIs.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on financial results, budget variance analysis, scenario analysis, stress tests, and KPI outcomes, presenting these analyses to key stakeholders such as executive leadership and board members.
- Assist with impactful, high-visibility projects, including large-scale capital markets and fundraising initiatives, working closely with the CFO and CSO.
- Support the Accounting team in enhancing accounting and reporting processes.
- Contribute to evaluating and executing M&A and direct investment opportunities, including financial analysis, execution, due diligence, and integration.

Requirements:

- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, applied mathematics, economics, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or similar roles.
- Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills with a proven track record of executing complex financial analyses.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging with management or executive-level stakeholders.
- Strong self-sufficiency, with a demonstrated ability to learn independently and an intellectual drive for excellence.
- Analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with NetSuite, Mosaic, Salesforce, SQL, or Power BI is a plus.
