Job Description

Job Summary:

The Safety Manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing safety programs to ensure a safe working environment on all construction sites. This role includes conducting site inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing safety training to employees and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safety Program Implementation:

* Enforce safety policies and procedures to comply with OSHA and other regulations.
* Update safety programs as needed to enhance safety performance.

* Training and Education:

* Conduct safety orientation and training sessions.
* Maintain and distribute safety training materials.

* Site Inspections:

* Perform regular safety inspections and audits.
* Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

* Incident Management:

* Investigate accidents and near-misses.
* Prepare incident reports and recommend preventive measures.

* Regulatory Compliance:

* Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local safety regulations.
* Stay updated on changes to safety laws and standards.

* Risk Management:

* Assess and mitigate potential safety risks.
* Work with project teams to promote a culture of safety.
