Job Description

CLARION, CORAOPOLIS, GREENSBURG, HARMAR, ALBION OR KITTANNING

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in geology or related field
• GIT required; PG in Pennsylvania is preferred
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience
• Geological mapping and survey techniques
• Knowledge of mining and related topics including but not limited to:
  • Open-pit mining
  • Strip mining
  • Blasting plans and notices
  • Groundwater
  • Surface water
  • Water collection and testing
  • Dust sampling
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations (PA required, OH a plus)
• Experience with related submissions and permits (NPDES, HOP, PNDI, GP 104, etc.)
• Understanding of wetland delineation, mitigation, etc.
• Interaction with related agencies: DEP, EPA, Army Corp of Engineers, etc.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork in various terrains and weather conditions
• Experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and/or hydrologic/hydraulic software a plus.

• Responsibilities include project management and client interactions. 
• Candidates should be able to efficiently plan and organize workload, demonstrate success working with a team of professionals, have a commitment to quality, good communication skills, and a positive work ethic.
