Overnight CNA Weekend Package - Regency Park of Carroll Nursing and Rehab

Shift : Friday – Sunday; 6p-6a ********** INCREASED WAGE STARTING AT $18 - $21

Overview: Regency Park of Carroll Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for an overnight weekend shift package. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Assist with mobility, including transferring residents from bed to chair, and providing support during ambulation.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with medications as directed by nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, maintaining a respectful and caring environment.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control procedures and housekeeping duties as needed.
• Document all care provided accurately and promptly in residents' charts.
• Follow all policies and procedures to ensure a safe, high-quality care environment.
• Respond to resident needs promptly and communicate with other staff to ensure the well-being of residents.

Education & Qualifications:

• Must hold a current CNA certification in the state of Iowa.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous CNA experience in a long-term care setting is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and team members.
• Basic knowledge of health care practices and patient care techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents (with assistance when needed).
• Ability to assist with positioning and moving residents in and out of bed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and assist with lifting heavier weights when necessary.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions and use proper body mechanics.
