Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Data Warehouse Architect with a strong background in Snowflake and various analytics tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting and designing data warehouse solutions that support our business intelligence and analytics needs. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture and warehousing principles, data modeling, ETL processes, and proficiency in Oracle and Snowflake environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Warehouse Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions using Oracle and Snowflake.
• Data Modeling: Create and optimize logical and physical data models for data warehousing and analytics purposes.
• ETL Processes: Develop, implement, and manage ETL processes to ensure accurate and timely data integration from various sources.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data warehouse performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Analytics Tools Integration: Integrate data warehouse solutions with various analytics tools (e.g., Oracle Analytics, Power BI, Tableau etc) to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Data Governance: Implement data governance and best practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, models, processes, and configurations.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data warehousing and data architecture.

• Extensive experience with Oracle databases and Snowflake data warehousing solutions.

• Proven experience with ETL tools and processes.

• Strong background in integrating data warehouses with analytics tools such as Oracle Analytics, Power BI, Tableau etc.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL.

• Deep understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.

• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions.

• Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong project management and organizational skills.
