Job Title: Medical Assistant- IHS

Location: Winnebago, NE

Start Date: Dec 2024

Duration: 13weeks to 1 year

Shift Schedule: Mon- Fri, 36 hrs per week- NIGHTS

Shift Timings: 8 pm-8 am or 8 pm-6 am, 9 pm-7 am (10 -12 hour shifts)

Job Description:

• Collect, organize, record and communicate, in a meaningful way, data relevant to behavioral health and medical assessments.
• Identify medical conditions that warrant medical treatment and notify the nurse.
• Assess the physical-psychosocial health status of patients and family based upon the knowledge of growth and development patterns and health conditions that require medical management.
• Recognize the desired effects, side effects, and complications of pharmaceuticals.
• Exercise emotional control, tact, patience, and reliability in providing urgent patient care during stressful situations.
• Provide individual and family counseling, guidance, and health instruction to help patients understand how to prevent disease and maintain good physical and mental health.

Documents Required:

• Must have at least 24 months of direct patient care experience within the last 48 months.
• Certification in BLS/CPR/AED.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Patient care: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Winnebago, NE 68071: Relocate before starting work (Required)
