Job Description

We are looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer with experience in socks and/or hosiery, for a fashion company in New York, NY. This position operates 5 days onsite in NYC Office. 

Responsibilities: 

• Work with Design/Concept teams to establish graphic/pattern/color/trend direction and interpret into artwork appropriate for sock brands
• Create and illustrate print, graphics and knit patterns using CAD tools
• Update tech packs in PLM
• Provide production ready artwork, in both print and electronic format, for internal and external partners
• Research and create new trends in graphic design and production techniques.

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Design or Graphic Design (or equivalent experience in Knitwear CAD Design 
• At least 3-5+ years of related print and pattern/graphic design experience
• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop required
• Strong sense of color for the creation of color ways and the ability to match colors accurately
• Ability to act as liaison between many departments: excellent communication and analytic skills
