JT Trading Post in Joshua Tree, CA is looking for a freelance content writer to join our team. We are located on 61716 29 Palms Highway. Our ideal candidate is semi-local, self-driven, ambitious, and hard-working. This is a remote position.

Compensation

$50 - $150 / deliverable

Responsibilities

• Research and write original content for our blog, website, and other digital platforms.
• Produce well-researched articles on various topics including travel, health, finance, fashion, lifestyle, etc. pertaining to Joshua Tree and surrounding areas.
• Optimize content for search engines without compromising quality or readability.
• Adhere to editorial guidelines and brand voice.
• Edit and proofread content for grammar, spelling, and readability.
• Meet deadlines consistently, managing your time effectively to deliver articles as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role.
• Exceptional writing and research skills, with an ability to craft compelling content.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword optimization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS), project management systems such as Monday / Slack as well as basic ability to read / write HTML.
