Job Description:  The position of Client Accounting Officer is a mid-level role, where the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and accounting records for their clients. This role will be part of the Client Accounting team and will assist the Senior Client Accounting Officer in preparing financial information and returns for clients and regulated pension schemes. To succeed in this role, the candidate must have at least completed half of the ACCA qualifications or possess other relevant qualifications such as ACA or a bachelor's degree. Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of simple UK tax returns such as S731 and SA900.
  • Assist in the preparation of simple US tax returns such as the Form 3520A.
  • Assist in preparation of regulatory and other ad hoc reporting.
  • Assisting with the annual audit of the regulated pension schemes.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements for the regulated pension schemes.
  • Review of annual accounting information compiled by the Assistant Client Officers as part of the file preparations.
  • Preparation of client financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Assisting with admin queries regarding accounting matters.
  • Assist in the maintenance of monthly reports and handle other ad hoc tasks.
  • Understand the overall client accounting team objectives and assist team members as necessary the wider interest of the team and overall goals.

Requirements:

  • In the process of obtaining relevant qualifications such as ACA/ACCA.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
